By virtue of his association with Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura has somehow had one of his best calendar years on the main roster. The pair weren't given much in the way of a story after cohort Sami Zayn disappeared in March, but their in-ring work was often the highlight of some barren times. Faint praise perhaps, but better than none at all.
