The Good: The Shield's debut was amazing, apart from the turtleneck tops. From day one they meant more than virtually the whole roster. On commentary, Michael Cole spoke of the three coming "from NXT" - change, thankfully was afoot even if it was still hard to spot it.

The Bad: One set of nerds defeated another set of nerds in the opener as WWE asked audiences to care about the likes of Brodus Clay, Justin Gabriel and Tensai, but more was to come. This show was the graveyard of the John Laurinaitis era of talent development.

The Ugly: What the f*ck was Antonio Cesaro Vs R-Truth doing on a pay-per-view? Or Sheamus Vs The Big Show? Or any of the aforementioned nerds from the last paragraph. For all the adjustments soon to be made to the main roster, the back-end of the era still felt brutally bloated.
