Ranking Every WWE To AEW Move From Worst To Best
32. Mercedes Martinez
What initially appeared to be a shrewd piece of business for TK in the midst of WWE's 2021 spell of mass releases, the acquisition of veteran talent Mercedes Martinez provided his often overlooked women's division with both a bit of name value and some near unrivalled experience.
However, in the time since returning to AEW in December 2021, the one-time RETRIBUTION member hasn't exactly set the world on fire, with arguably her most notable All Elite actions to date being the fact she was responsible for a rare DQ finish within the promotion out of the gates and an admittedly fun but quickly forgotten about ROH Women's World Championship main event with Deonna Purrazzo in May.
Here's hoping Martinez is rewarded with a bit more time in the spotlight on the back of another decent, but again largely ignored, title skirmish with Serena Deeb at Death Before Dishonor.
