Ranking Every WWE To AEW Move From Worst To Best
31. Samoa Joe
Another star who appears to have been recruited in a bid to add some more unequalled experience and wisdom to a cutting edge roster, Samoa Joe has also found himself being lost in the shuffled somewhat largely due to the muddled nature of Tony Khan's Ring of Honor purchase.
Outside of a strong but unremarkable showing in the first-ever Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, reaching the final against Adam Cole but never looking a likely winner, Joe's time in the All Elite sun has largely been spent butting heads with fellow ROH all-star Jay Lethal over that promotion's TV title.
Said feud has done little to nothing to remind folks why The Samoan Submission Machine being booted from the Sports Entertainment sphere was seen as such a monumental mistake in the first place, with Joe himself already feeling like a bit of an All Elite afterthought and often appearing as though he's struggling to keep up with the next generation of super worker.
