Remember that small WWE UK show from the early '90s that we mentioned earlier? Well, it's this one. In 2016, in seems impossible that WWE would host their second biggest PPV outside of North America but things were a little different in 1992. Noticing that the company had a growing fanbase in Britain, WWE swapped Washington DC for London's Wembley Stadium and reaped the rewards. Over 80,000 people attended the show, who in turn spent over $3,000,000 on tickets and merchandise.

Barring the main event, this PPV wasn't amazing, but the spectacle of a sea of humanity in a huge outdoor arena made it seem just that extra bit special. Although there were a few decent matches on the card, all anyone remembers about this show is the classic between Bret Hart and The British Bulldog. It's possible that everything that can be said about this iconic fight has been said but we're not kidding when we say that it is the best match in SummerSlam history.

It's been over 20 years and British fans are still begging WWE to bring one of their big PPVs back to the UK. Small shows and NXT are cool, but Britain has the stadiums and the fanbase deserving of another SummerSlam, or dare we say...a WrestleMania?
