Ranking Every WWE UK PPV Ever

Around the turn of the millennium, WWE decided that they would host two PPVs-a-year in the UK. One in the first six months, the second in the latter months. Insurrextion was the first of those but by 2003 these yearly events were starting to lose their steam and this was the last UK-based PPV WWE would hold. Looking back at this show, it's easy to see why they came to this decision.

This was a Raw Brand PPV held in Newcastle and it featured the usual cast of wrestlers that you would see on a Monday Night in 2003. Christian and Booker T put on a semi-decent match for the Intercontinental Championship and the same can be said for Jazz and Trish Stratus in the Women's Championship match. Then there was a series of elongated and formulaic bouts featuring La Resistance against Kane and Rob Van Dam, Goldust vs. Rico, Scott Steiner vs. Test, and The Dudley Boyz vs. Rodney Mack, Christopher Nowinski, and Teddy Long. Yes, you read that right. Teddy Long had a match on PPV!

There was also a Highlight Reel segment featuring Chris Jericho, Steve Austin, and Eric Bischoff. As always this was good fun but it only served as a vehicle for Austin to hit a couple of stunners and send the fans home happy. Why starve fans of the gift of a Jericho match?

The main-event was a Street Fight between Triple H and Kevin Nash, with Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels in their respective corners. This was the type of brawl that Triple H could do in his sleep by this point and to be fair it is pretty exciting, with all four men involved shedding blood. This was probably the only highpoint in a by-the-numbers show.
