Ranking Every WWE UK PPV Ever
6. Insurrextion 2002
Here's a little bit of history for you: Insurrextion 2002 was the last televised show to ever go under the WWF name. Two days later the wrestling monolith that we know today changed its name to WWE after losing a lawsuit to the World Wildlife Fund.
Knowing that, this PPV gains a little bit more significance and for what it's worth, this was a fairly solid show. The opening match between Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam was exactly what you expect from two of the finest workers in the company at the time. X-Pac and Bradshaw put on a surprisingly good show and there was also The Hardy Boyz squaring off against the curious combo of Brock Lesnar and Shawn Stasiak. The career trajectories of that team honestly couldn't be any different.
The two biggest matches on the card were Steve Austin vs. Big Show and Triple H v. The Undertaker. Neither of these bouts were necessarily masterpieces but it doesn't mean that they were bad, even if the latter was hampered by a slack top rope. Another solid, but slightly unspectacular show.
