Anyone who is anyone knows that the SmackDown brand was on fire in late 2002. The amount of quality wrestlers at their disposal was astonishing and even though this wasn't a massively important or hyped show, the talent still produced the goods.

Opening the show was a great back and forth match between Matt Hardy and Booker T. Why didn't these two have more matches together? Next up, was a short but sweet mixed tag match with Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson facing Dawn Marie and a heel John Cena. Later on, there was a fun, fast-paced Cruiserweight Championship Triple Threat featuring Rey Mysterio, Jamie Noble, and Tajiri.

The two closing matches were the best. Firstly there was a WWE Tag Team title bout with Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit defending the belts against Los Guerreros. It would be impossible for these four to put on a bad match and they didn't disappoint the Manchester crowd that evening.

The main event was Edge against Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman for the WWE Championship. Heyman doesn't really feature in this match all that much leaving Edge and Lesnar to have a really great tussle for the championship, hinting at the Canadian's success later down the line. Once again, why didn't these two have more matches with each other?

There are a few duds in here like Funaki vs. Crash and Chuck Palumbo and Val Venis vs. Ron Simmons and D-Von Dudley but we can forgive those as this was an otherwise great show.
