Ranking Every WWE World Title Reign After Money In The Bank Cash-Ins - From Worst To Best

7. Edge - 2005

The Miz cash-in WWE Champion 2010

The first cash-in, the first title run, the first live sex celebration on WWE TV.

Edge was the first man to benefit from the Money in the Bank briefcase, and whilst his reign only lasted 21 days and was disappointingly ended by John Cena it was memorable for a number of reasons. It was a big moment for the man himself, who had bubbled under the surface for a long time.

It set the ground for the many title reigns he would have in the aftermath, as Edge seemed more than at home with the company on his shoulders.

It is his Rated-R dallying with Lita on RAW that the reign is most remembered for however. The segment gave RAW its highest rating in over a year, as viewers tuned in to see Edge and Lita cavorting suggestively and not much else. The segment was interrupted by Ric Flair of all people, a man who obviously has stood up for decency all his life.

Ahem...

Edge defended his title against Flair in a TLC match, but dropped it to Cena soon after. It didn't last long, but it was certainly memorable.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
