The Usos are considered by many to be the greatest tag team in WWE history, and their respective roles in The Bloodline saga saw them at the height of their powers, as they rolled into WrestleMania 39 as the tag team champions. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are brothers in everything but name, and their ups and downs had reached an emotional crescendo after Zayn turned his back on The Bloodline at the 2023 Royal Rumble by stopping the beating Kevin Owens was receiving at the hand of Roman Reigns and the Usos.
After weeks of Owens refusing to acknowledge his friend, Zayn and Owens would come back together in exhilarating fashion to challenge The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 39. This marked a landmark moment for tag team wrestling, as it was finally given the headline slot at WrestleMania for the first time.
