Very few superstars in the history of WrestleMania have walked into 'The Showcase of the Immortals' with as much good will behind them as Daniel Bryan going in to WrestleMania 30. It was well documented that Vince McMahon had decided on Batista vs Randy Orton to be the main event of that year's show, in what would have been the most egregious booking in the history of his "Superbowl of wrestling".

The Yes Movement had supporters from every corner. Whether you'd followed Bryan's in-ring brilliance from his Ring of Honor days or if you had only recently tuned in to watch every crowd he performed in front of turning into a finger-raising riot, Daniel Bryan was everything you could want in a WrestleMania babyface.

He would have to earn his spot in the main event the hard way though, opening the card in a brutal match with Triple H that he would have to win to turn the aforementioned Batista vs Orton match into a triple threat. He did that and entered the main event beaten and bruised to overcome three future Hall of Famers in one night and win the WWE Championship. This victory, forever known as 'The Miracle on Bourbon Street,' was a moment that captured everything that makes wrestling great and a moment where everything felt right in the world.
