6. Edge Vs The Undertaker (WrestleMania 24)

An ingenious contest that built with some bravery considering its placement at the end of a red hot 2008 night in Orlando, Edge and The Undertaker's understated epic was one of the most satisfying headliners ever.

Edge piling counters on top of counters was a bold step away from his 'Ultimate Opportunist' veneer, but he assembled one of his finest ever performances to present himself strictly as a wily sneak rather than a plucky and gritty underdog.

It was 'The Deadman' with the task at hand. With a streak to protect and a title to win, it subverted the annual narrative. 'Taker outwrestled his way to victory, the exact way a new World Champion - supernaturally inspired or otherwise - should.
