Ranking EVERY WWE WrestleMania Main Event From Worst To Best

5. Triple H Vs Shawn Michaels Vs Chris Benoit (WrestleMania 20)

WrestleMania Main Events
WWE

Subjectively sh*t-canned but objectively outstanding, the WrestleMania 20 Triple Threat is less a world class war and more a discussion on the ethics of art vs artist.

It's too glib to call that a 'shame' considering the abhorrent final actions of match-winner and pay-per-view MVP Benoit, but the sheer crowing glory of it all was vital to the hair-trigger tension in the bout.

Rivals on screen, Triple H and Shawn Michaels were in reality the establishment a fan favourite like Benoit was used to running into. Headlong too, evidently.

Switch him out, or switch his actions off, and there's to be found a truly magnificent Mania main. Discretion, quite plainly, is advised.
