Perhaps Kane's last notable run was in late 2012, when he and rival Daniel Bryan joined forces (at the behest of anger management therapist Dr. Shelby) and won the WWE Tag Team Championships. Within the course of a few months, both had become popular babyfaces and had grown fond of their alliance - despite the occasional ego clashes.

The pair successfully defended their titles against the likes of Team Rhodes Scholars and 3MB, but heading into WrestleMania, they had a new challenge - Dolph Ziggler and his partner, former NXT Champion Big E Langston. Not only would WrestleMania 29 see the team get a title shot, but it would also mark Langston's main roster debut.

The bout was short, but had its share of action, with Bryan carrying the workload for Team Hell No. He hit Dolph with a tope while Kane battled Big E, but as the bout wore on, Dolph came back with a Zig-Zag on Kane for two. Big E gave Dolph his Money in the Bank briefcase, but when "The Showoff" tried to hit Kane with it, "The Big Red Machine" retaliated with a Chokeslam.

A diving headbutt from Bryan onto Dolph gave the champs the victory.
