Ranking Kane's 20 WrestleMania Matches From Worst To Best

17. 24-Man Battle Royal - WrestleMania 24

So at WrestleMania XXIV, Kane beat Chavo Guerrero in record time to capture the ECW Championship. In order to earn that title shot, though, Kane had to win a 24-man battle royal that took place prior to the official start of the show.

The bout featured luminaries such as The Great Khali, Snitsky, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, while under-utilizing future stars like Kofi Kingston and The Miz. Like most battle royals, it was pretty bad, and even though the whole thing only went 6:45, it felt a lot longer.

The final three men in the match were Kane, Mark Henry, and Snitsky, a clue that Chavo was probably getting squashed later. Henry eliminated Snitsky, and then Kane won the match with a big boot that sent "The World's Strongest Man" over the ropes.

If this match was meant to hype the crowd up before the start of the show, it was not a success. If it was meant to give Kane momentum heading into his title match, it failed. If it was meant to make the ECW Title seem important - well, you get the idea.
