Eight years later, Kane was back in a battle royal - although this one made the main WrestleMania broadcast. In fact, it was the tenth match of the evening at WrestleMania 32, which means it went on approximately three days into the overall event.

This battle royal saw the participation of Shaquille O'Neal (who was eliminated along with The Big Show), the NXT debut of Baron Corbin, and the returns of relics Diamond Dallas Page and Tatanka. The rest of the field was made up of grapplers who didn't fit into the card anywhere else, like The Ascension and Bo Dallas.

Kane nearly pulled off a repeat of WrestleMania 24, ending up as one of the last two men left in the ring. Ultimately, though, it was Corbin who proved that it was his time, knocking Kane over the ropes to claim victory. It was a tough break and a lousy performance for "The Big Red Machine," who looked every bit his age.

There's always WrestleMania 33.
