While this IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Title match was a criminal waste of Tomohiro Ishii's talents, it was nevertheless a very good match with the bulk of the bout being carried by Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Roa; one of the most improved acts of 2016) and Great Heel Bash (Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma). The two teams had a tremendous outing in the finals of the World Tag League last month and their chemistry continued here.

Although the potty mouths of the wrestlers involved threatened to bring this one off the rails at times - Steve Corino completely lost it on the English commentary at the swearing in the funniest moment of the night - this was a solid bout, with the extra fun of Ishii's hard hitting moves and Yano's antics thrown in for good measure.

Although some disputed Yano and Ishii's involvement in the match (they were only added in because Yano robbed off with G.O.D's championship belts), they ended up winning the whole thing in a very funny finishing sequence. The near falls down the final stretch were great and Yano rolling up Roa for the cheeky win was a great moment.
