For the first time since 2011, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles were defended in a traditional two-on-two bout rather than a multi-team scramble. And it made all the difference as The Young Bucks and Roppongi Vice put out a cracker of a fast paced modern tag match at the Dome.

Besides showcasing all the fun high flying moves and antics of the Bucks, this one also featured a great story, something which really benefited the division on this stage. With the story over the last few months teasing the tension between RPG Vice members Rocky Romero and Beretta, the match once again played off that smartly.

In previous matches, Beretta felt as though he was forced to carry the load for the team but here he wiped out on a crazy dive to the outside when Matt and Nick Jackson moved out of the way. Romero was then left to fight the Bucks on his own and survived long enough to roll up the cocky Matt as Beretta grabbed Nick to stop him from breaking up the pin. A great match with a creative and unexpected finish.
