Ranking The Last 10 WWE Intercontinental Champions From Worst To Best
3. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler has held the IC Title six times throughout his career for a combined 372 days. If that doesn't sound like a lot for so many reigns, you'd be right. Four of those reigns lasted less than 60 days, and one even ended after a measly 22 days back in 2015.
Thank the heavens for match quality, and for his 2018 feud with Seth Rollins.
Ziggler and Rollins traded the Intercontinental prize over the summer that year, and they managed a quite stunning series of pay-per-view (and TV) classics that would merit a DVD set if people still cared for such things. For the best, hit up that 30-minute 'Iron Man' war from Extreme Rules or their SummerSlam sizzler.
Every match seemed to top the last, and complementary sideshows like Drew McIntyre and Dean Ambrose in each man's corner only added to the fun. Though Ziggler's stint only existed to break up Seth's, it was an important heel counterpoint in that 'babyface workhorse' story.
