Ranking The Last 10 WWE Intercontinental Champions From Worst To Best

4. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is probably about to become the internet's whipping boy all over again when he wins Universal gold (blue?) at 'Mania 36. That's nothing new for Vince McMahon's go-to push - things were the same when he won the IC belt back in 2017.

Where the argument against Roman falls down is when one analyses his workload during 63 days in the championship hot seat. Reigns had some seriously solid outings. For proof, check out his 24-minute stunner with Samoa Joe on the New Year's Day episode of Raw in 2018, or his title win against The Miz on the prior year's 20 November edition before that.

In between such goodness, Reigns worked his arse off to bring the best out in both Elias and Jason Jordan, then had an absolute belter on the 11 December 2017 Raw with Cesaro. His stint as IC Champion will slip many nets.

Don't let it slip yours.
