Long before Triple H and The Undertaker were putting on Match Of The Year candidates on the Grandest Stage Of Them All because the latter ended Shawn Michaels' career, the pair collided at WrestleMania X-Seven because Trips had beaten everyone of importance except 'The Phenom'.

There are a number of reasons as to why the 17th 'Mania is considered the greatest of all time, and this ridiculously enjoyable match is one of them. Yes, it's a little gimmicky with the crowd-traveling following one of the longest unconscious referee spots in WWE history, but seeing the two titans batter each other in the audience really was something - and that Chokeslam off the scaffolding was a sight to behold.

A glimpse of greatness to come for these two, they defied expectations here and delivered a thoroughly entertaining brawl that had the crowd completely invested. And the closing moments - which involved a rare American Badass Tombstone, a fantastic sledgehammer spot and a killer Last Ride - brought this messy balls-to-the-wall spectacle to a satisfying conclusion.

Following the match, a bloody 'Taker told us all that it was his "f*ckin' yard", and after that performance, nobody would disagree with him.
