It's the elephant in the room. Lesnar v Taker is so low on this list as this writer believes the Streak should never have been broken. It had got to a stage where it had become some mystical and pretty much commonplace that my entire childhood ended after The Beast Incarnate delivered that third F-5. Some will say that Brock needed to win to get him where he needed to be in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture but that simply isn't the case. His look, reputation and past work in the squared circle is still impressive enough to mean a Mania defeat against the real Mr WrestleMania wouldn't have been too much to his detriment. The match itself was a stop start affair, mainly because Taker reportedly suffered a concussion early on in the bout. An injury so severe that he collapsed after going back stage after the match finished. The Phenom still managed to get a series of offence in and survived two F-5s which had the WWE Universe believing he could keep his undefeated run going. However, it was one F5 too many that got him as the younger, stronger Lesnar went over. To be fair to Brock, his performances in the company since have been nothing but stellar. So much so that he is coming over a more of a babyface these days, he's utterly awesome. WWE will be very much worse off if his expected departure back to UFC goes ahead. Nevertheless, the Streak shouldn't have been ended. Period.
