Ranking The Worst Performer In Every WWE Royal Rumble Match

11. 2017 - James Ellsworth

Braun Eliminates James Ellsworth
WWE Network

Lasted 0:15.

Another 15-second performance, but for a vastly different name.

The 2017 Royal Rumble is another often frowned upon instalment of the beloved match but, much like its counterpart from 10 years prior, it featured the Rumble debut for several WWE names, including Tye Dillinger, Apollo Crews, Mojo Rawley, Jack Gallagher, Kalisto, and James Ellsworth, the latter of whom held the shortest record for the match.

Entering 11th, Ellsworth decided to stay outside the ring, with Braun Strowman controlling proceedings inside of it. Dean Ambrose opted for a different strategy, sent his chinless foe into the match, and watched on as he was thunderously Chokeslammed back out by Strowman. The thud his body made as it full-force hit the ground was concerning - which only makes it funnier according to Ambrose.
