Ranking Triple H's 19 WrestleMania Matches - From Worst To Best

15. Triple H Vs. Sheamus (WrestleMania XXVII)

Outside of the main event between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, WrestleMania XXVI was a whole lot of "fairly good" and little else. Triple H and Sheamus was exactly that, a good professional wrestling match that kept things simple and never expanded beyond the young Celtic Warrior's limited abilities. Triple H endured a brutal assault, his body beaten and battered by a bruising Irishman, enraged that his veteran opponent had ended his first WWE Championship just one month earlier. He worked over the back and ribs of his opponent and even managed to blast him with a Brogue Kick. But Triple H fought back, ever the resilient babyface, and ended the brute heel's night on a losing note, courtesy of a Pedigree. A modern contest between The King of Kings and The Celtic Warrior would be phenomenal. Sheamus is a great wrestler, contrary to what some would tell you, while Triple H is as smart a worker as ever. Together, they would produce magic that the ginger, former WWE Champion simply was not capable of six years ago.
