Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Attire Every Year 1990-2021

10. 2012 - CM Punk

Bret Hart Young Bucks
WWE

That wave of euphoria did not last because 2011 was effectively the Summer of Punk'd. WWE ribbed us all by promising something as seismic as improving the product somewhat.

WWE blew it so badly that Punk, more saviour than babyface, turned heel a year later. That it was something that could feasibly happen was a huge indictment, but because Punk was outstanding at his best, he generated heat from an audience that wasn't exactly prepared to let him have it.

This was sensational: at Night of Champions, after burying Bostonian John Cena as a New York Yankee sell-out in the build, he wore the colours of the franchise.

In Boston.

As a Chicago sports fan.

Beautiful heel work from a man who deserved more.
