Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Theme Every Year 1990-2021

3. 2019 - Jon Moxley

The fitting brilliance of 'Wild Thing' obscures that his AEW theme was a pretty great juggernaut of a rock track that nailed his rampaging quality, but Jon Moxley's New Japan theme might be better than both.

It's the nasty drone of a headbutt-lobbing sh*t-kicker who just arm-rolled out of the Nevada desert to beat up the deserving: a swaggering, deep stoner groove laced with a real sense of lurking menace. Succinctly, it's just as f*cking cool as he is. It has hair on its chest and a c*ck swinging to its knees.

Hard, gnarly, and by the middle phase, uplifting: the soundtrack to a hard, real man basking in his freedom.
