Ranking WWE's 2016 Pay-Per-View Endings From Worst To Best

10. Hell In A Cell

reigns styles payback

What happened: Hell in a Cell was a historic WWE Pay-Per-View as, for the first time on the main roster, a women's match headlined the show. The feud between Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair was clearly the hottest one on the Raw brand, and with Hell in a Cell in Banks's hometown of Boston, the call was made to put the Raw Women's Championship bout on last. During the match - which was also the first Hell in a Cell bout to feature women - the two archnemeses dazzled fans, but ultimately, the audience was left shocked and disappointed when Charlotte won the title back.

Why it sucked: If this list were counting down PPV main events, Hell in a Cell would have been a winner. Just taking finishes into account, though, it was a really bad decision to have Charlotte go over. Banks had only won the belt four weeks earlier, and having her lose it so soon in front of a hometown crowd hurt her as a babyface. And yes, Banks did win the title back on Raw in a great match the following month, but she lost it to Charlotte again at Roadblock: End of the Line in an even dumber decision.
