Ranking WWE's First Ever NXT Class - From Worst To Best

49. Chase Donovan

NXT Roster 2012
WWE

Of the 100+ matches Chase Donovan has worked per his Cagematch record, only eight of them were under the WWE umbrella.

With a fantastic look and a healthy resumé, what might have worked against Donovan - also known as Bryce Andrews, Drew Donovan and other monikers - was his experience. WWE, particularly during this era, were keen on performers that could be melded into exactly what they wanted, which amounted to what Vince McMahon woke up that day thinking a wrestler was. The parameters were hard enough without having to unlearn everything that got you noticed by the market leader in the first place.

Donovan found that out the hard way when he entered the system for real. An NXT jobber to the stars (literally so; he fell to Roman Reigns and Big E on his two television appearances), he was there and gone over the course of just eight months of a 12 year career in 2012.
