Now we're left with a final three of Bryan, Reigns and Rusev. The Bulgarian takes it to the babyfaces and dominates proceedings. He looks like he's going to win. He goes to eliminate D-Bry but the goat-faced yes man pulls a quick one like The Rock did at the 2000 Rumble and sends the Bulgarian sliding to the floor, without any of the controversy of the Brahma Bull's attempt 15 years ago. That will get the biggest pop of the night and make the Philly crowd believe that Bryan is finally going to do it after his exclusion from the match last year. Reigns and Bryan standoff with the crowd going wild. They go to battle. Everyone is behind Bryan and he comes close to winning a number of times. However, as we all know Reigns is the chosen one and must go over, and he does so by delivering a Shield-esque power bomb to the floor. This is the sort of OMG moment that should get Roman over, despite the unpopularity his win will be greeted by. The fallen hero Bryan receives a standing ovation as he makes his way to the back. The WWE Universe will be unhappy that he has lost, but grateful that he made it so far. Then, The Rock, who had not been publicised to appear on social media, comes to the ring and celebrates with his triumphant cousin. The people who subscribed to the WWE Network receive a treat.
