Rebooking WWE Bad Blood 2004 - 7 Ways To Make It Better

6. Chris Jericho Vs. Batista

At Bad Blood 2004, Chris Jericho was battling no-hoper Tyson Tomko in the second match while Batista didn't even make it onto the main show, instead having to settle for the dark/Heat match (he beat Maven). Fast-forward to Raw's next PPV, Vengeance, and Batista and Jericho were squaring off while Tomko was relegated to the dark/Heat match (he beat Val Venis). Really, Batista should have been on the PPV, considering that he was a member of Evolution and destined to be one of the company's top stars. Jericho, meanwhile, deserved more than tomato can Tomko, who was never over on his own and only had worth as Christian's sidekick. Give them ten minutes, see how it goes and if it's any good have the rematch the next month. For that to happen, Batista really has to go over, or Jericho could win via DQ (perhaps with Batista beating on him past the referee's five count). Either way, have Jericho look competitive in a classic big man versus little man match and make sure Batista is standing tall at the end. Alternatively, have Jericho win with a quick rollup, then have Batista level him in the post-match.
