Rebooking WWE December To Dismember: 7 Ways To Make It Better

7. Danny Doring & Roadkill Vs. The FBI

It's fair to say that the team of Danny Doring and Roadkill were not in WWE's long-term plans. In fact, the former ECW Tag Team Champions didn't even team with each other, WWE instead choosing to use them as singles wrestlers. Or singles jobbers, if you will, since they were more often than not on the wrong side of a squash match. Both guys were talented and could produce in the ring, however. During the original ECW's last years, their matches were often highlights of TV and PPVs. They had crackers against other lowly teams like Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger, Nova and Christ Chetti and the FBI. To kick off this re-booted December to Dismember, the FBI (another very talented and underrated team) would issue an open challenge, which would be answered to Doring and Roadkill. It would be a nice surprise for the ECW faithful, who wouldn't have seen this match for a good five or six years. Doring and Roadkill would go over after a competitive 10-minute match, where both teams wouldn't be instructed to 'hold back'. Believe it or not, Bruce Pritchard at one time pitched Roadkill as a potential WrestleMania opponent for The Undertaker. He was an agile big man, but let's not get carried away now.
