During a brief segment hyping up the upcoming Women of Honor episode of ROH, “The Last Real Man” Silas Young made his presence felt by interrupting backstage reporter, Mandy Leon, in typically chauvinistic fashion.

Young immediately endeared himself to the female audience with the line “no-one cares about women’s wrestling”, a line that was made all the more poignant by Young simultaneously using Mandy to hold his prop (a make-shift whiteboard) as he got to the point of his intrusion.

Having put Jay Lethal on the shelf following Lethal’s victory over Young at Best in the World, Young has been the constant reminder of Lethal's absence, regularly gloating to reiterate that fact. Gleefully updating the number on the whiteboard to read “Golden boy Jay Lethal has missed 22 days with a lost time injury”, Young took great pleasure in clocking up the days he has managed to keep his rival out of action.

The two-man beatdown at Best in the World by Young and his partner, The Beer City Bruiser, was a vicious assault. Following a double-team attack, The Bruiser would tackle Lethal into a beer keg before putting him through a table with devastating splash from the top. At over 300lbs in weight, the impact shattered the table and Lethal’s ribs on impact, relegating the former ROH Champion to the injured list.

With an inevitable return of Lethal on the horizon, the feud between Young, BCB and Lethal is set to explode upon Lethal’s return; with all signs pointing to War of the Worlds for their eventual showdown.
