Renee Paquette STILL Under WWE Non-Compete Clause

If you were wondering why Renee Paquette hasn't showed up else yet, here you go.

Renee Paquette is still bound to her WWE non-compete clause.

The former WWE broadcaster confirmed as much on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast earlier this week, stating that the clause, which prevents her from appearing or working elsewhere, is "nearly up."

Paquette, who left WWE in August 2020, confirmed that she still enjoys a good relationship with her former employers, emphasising that there is no bad blood between the two parties.

Working as Renee Young for WWE between 2012 and 2020, Paquette occupied a number of different broadcasting roles with the promotion, from panel show host to commentator. She announced she was departing the promotion ahead of SummerSlam 2020, saying that she had accomplished everything she felt she could in WWE.

In the wake of Paquette's WWE departure, the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that the Canadian's non-compete clause ran longer than the standard 90-days handed out to WWE's wrestlers.

Paquette has stayed busy since leaving the world's biggest wrestling promotion. As well as giving birth to her and husband Jon Moxley's first child, Nora Murphy Good, in June, she has been running her Oral Sessions podcast since early 2021 and released her first cookbook, Messy In The Kitchen: My Guide to Eating Deliciously, Hosting Fabulously and Sipping Copiously, in May.
