AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 likely grossed around $6 million from 115,000 pay-per-view buys on 31 May, per Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston's estimates.

This would make it the second most successful pay-per-view in company history. AEW's previous PPV, Revolution 2021, broke all internal records on 7 March, drawing approximately $7 million from 135,000 buys.

Dave Meltzer noted in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW sold about 4,700 tickets for Double Or Nothing in Daily's Place, Jacksonville, Florida. This was the promotion's highest-attended event since the COVID-19 pandemic forced American wrestling into empty or sparsely populated arenas in March 2020, with 5,200 people in attendance including comps. The PPV was approximately 300 tickets short of selling out.

Based on an average ticket price of $64, those 4,700 sales would have netted AEW about $300,000 in revenue. Thurston also estimates that if expected merchandise revenue per capita of $15 held true, around $71,000 would have been made in sales on the night.

Double Or Nothing 2020 did an estimated 105,000 buys, meaning the show was up by around 10,000 buys year-on-year. Both pay-per-views were headlined by Stadium Stampede matches featuring Chris Jericho's Inner Circle.
