Sting and Darby Allin will wrestle Team Taz's Ricky starks and Brian Cage in a Street Fight on tonight's AEW Revolution 2021 pay-per-view - and the match is already in the can.

Per Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso, not only did AEW prerecord the bout, but it is apparently considered a "massive success":-

In a second tweet, Barrasso states that the Street Fight strikes a balance between protecting and highlight Sting. Starks and Cage enjoyed a few "star-making moments" while Allin worked in his usual array of daredevil spots.

On top of this, Darby's background as a film school student was made use of in production.

This was the first match to be announced for Revolution 2021. Many an eyebrow was raised when it was put together, given Sting's age, injury history, and reported physical condition, though AEW has attempted to assuage these concerns by having the veteran indulge in a number of physical spots over the past few weeks, including bumping for a Cage powerbomb. It sounds like we're getting some kind of cinematic match, though perhaps Sting will be more hands-on than first assumed.

Check out AEW Revolution 2021 on FITE TV, live tonight from 8pm EST.
