A new report put out by Lucha Libre Online shows that WWE Raw's viewership in India is currently around double what it is in the United States.

Per LLO's Michael Morales Torres and Miguel Perez, Raw averaged just over 4 million viewers per show in India throughout January 2021. In the United States, the number sat at around 1.9 million viewers, meaning more than twice as many people were tuning in in India.

As far as SmackDown and NXT go, the average January 2021 viewership sat at 3 million and 1 million in India respectively, compared to 2.22 million and 643,000 in the United States. Not quite double, but health increases nonetheless.

January saw WWE present Superstar Spectacle, the company's first in-ring show dedicated to highlighting its growing Indian talent pool. Newcomers like Dilsher Shanky, Giant Zanjeer, and Guru Raaj were highlighted alongside familiar faces in Jinder Mahal, Indus Sher, and the Bollywood Boyz, with most competing against full-time main roster and NXT talent.

WWE claimed that around 20 million people ended up watching Superstar Spectacle. All of these numbers bode well for NXT India, which is believed to be in the works.
