The Undertaker's Final Farewell at WWE Survivor Series 2020 was booked by none other than Vince McMahon himself, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

Per the report, the WWE Chairman and CEO took a very hands-on role with the segment, dedicating a lot of time to it in the lead up to the pay-per-view and on the day of the show itself. It is also believed that Triple H helped put it together.

Vince was there to introduce 'The Deadman' ahead of what was billed as 'Taker's final WWE appearance. The Chairman was visibly struggling to hold himself on together on the microphone, adding to the gravity of the situation, and left the ring before Undertaker arrived on the scene.

After an epic ring entrance and his own assertion that it was finally time to rest in peace, Undertaker bowed before a Paul Bearer hologram, rose back up, and took his leave, exiting to a series of gongs. Thus ended one of the most storied careers in company history.

That pro wrestling retirements rarely stick means there's a degree of cynicism surrounding 'Taker and whether or not he'll be able to stay away, though it has been reported that Vince won't call him back to wrestle.
