ROH Final Battle 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Tony Khan Announces TV Movement

Tony Khan recently teased that there's some major news coming as pertains to ROH's TV future. Does Tony mean he's negotiated a standalone deal for weekly Ring Of Honor programming? Or, is he about to reveal that TNT chiefs agreed to change Rampage into an ROH show?

Hmm, hang fire on that second suggestion. It'd certainly be a surprise if Turner execs p*ssed away an AEW show in favour of one presented (on the face of it) as a totally different wrestling company. No, the more likely plan is to get ROH onto TV elsewhere and promote the hell out of it.

Some more news at Final Battle would be nice.

Put it this way: ROH can't limp into 2023 with no sense of direction. That was fine for the first year Tony owned it, because he had to figure some stuff out, but it's become a leech on regular AEW programming and not in a good way.

That can't go on forever.
