ROH Final Battle 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. So Chris Jericho Can Retain

Besides, this Jericho title reign deserves the chance to continue on into the new year (or at least until ROH has a TV deal and gets re-established there). Sticking the belt back on Claudio at this point wouldn't be a disaster, but it would trample all over months of fun storytelling involving the JAS leader.

If anything, AEW should keep letting Jericho dominate the ROH Title scene so it means more when he's knocked off his perch eventually. Is Claudio the guy to do that? Maybe, although perhaps not at Final Battle - not when there's another chapter of the story that'd take things in a bold direction.

The Blackpool Combat Club is splintering, and William Regal is no longer by Claudio's side. Wouldn't it be cool if somebody else emerged on Saturday night as a replacement for the Brit, remodelled BCC into an all-ROH faction and struck fear into the hearts of Jericho-lovers everywhere?

Drum roll, please...
