Roman Reigns' 10 Best WWE Matches

8. Vs. Cesaro (RAW November 2015)

Holy moly, that like/dislike ratio.

If you don't remember, back in 2015, Cesaro was really gaining momentum as a singles babyface wrestler. After his tag team with Tyson Kidd ended as a result of Kidd's career-ending injury, Cesaro gained a sizeable amount of fan support with his insane athleticism and amazing wrestling clinics.

In the fall, when Seth Rollins' injury forced the WWE Championship to be vacated, a makeshift tournament was created to culminate at Survivor Series. In this quarterfinal, Cesaro and Roman Reigns faced off in what was perhaps Roman's first truly great match on regular TV. Playing to both men's strengths, the match was perhaps the pinnacle of Cesaro's babyface run. You truly believed he could possibly defeat the Big Dog to advance in the tournament.

For Reigns' part, he absolutely brought his A-Game against one of the world's finest, doing everything he could to portray Cesaro as an equal. While obviously everyone was miffed about the predictable result (15 thousand dislikes, Jeez-Louise), no one could deny what a stupendous match this was.

Reigns has gone on to have excellent RAW matches against the likes of Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Miz, and Samoa Joe, but here was the start of the Big Dog's matches being must-see TV.
