Eagle-eyed fans claim to have spotted the person responsible for attacking The Big Dog this week.

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live concluded with a bizarre Roman Reigns segment where *begin Michael Cole voice* The Big Dog *end Michael Cole voice* had a structure dropped on him.

Of course, Roman being Roman, the multiple-time World Champ casually shrugged all of this off as SmackDown came to a close. But viewers were left wondering just who was behind this attack on the former Shield member.

Given the recent beef between the pair, Samoa Joe seemed like a safe bet to be the man responsible for attacking Reigns. Then one other school of thought was that it may even be Daniel Bryan. Thanks to some eagle-eyed fans on Twitter, though, could it actually be Buddy Murphy who has Roman in his sights?

Said eagle-eyed fans caught Murphy walking away after this odd segment.

Whether this is simply a case of 2 + 2 = 87 remains to be seen.

Since moving to SmackDown Live this year, Buddy Murphy has barely been seen from bar speaking up at Shane McMahon’s town hall meeting earlier this month.

The Australian is ridiculously talented and deserves a more prominent role on WWE television, and the prospect of seeing the former Cruiserweight Champion get a shot at Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam is one that’s likely to get NXT and 205 Live fans hugely intrigued.
