Whether it’s Ronda Rousey in character as an obnoxious heel, or Ronda Rousey the person speaking up, the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion has moved to lash out at the WWE Universe.

Speaking on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast, Rowdy Ronda took aim at WWE fans and blamed them for her ongoing WWE hiatus.

As Rousey put it, “What am I doing it for if I’m not being able to spend my time and energy on my family, but instead spending my time and my energy on a bunch of f**king ungrateful fans that don’t’ even appreciate me?” Quite.

Continuing on with her rant, the MMA icon explained how she loves pretty much everything else about the wrestling business bar the fans.

“I love performing. I love the girls. I love being out there. But, at the end of the day, I was just like, ‘F**k these fans, dude.’ My family loves me and they appreciate me, and I want all my energy to go into them. So, that was my decision. It’s like, ‘Hey girls, love what you’re doing. I’m gonna try and take all my momentum, and push you guys as far as I can. Fly, little birds, fly! I’m going f**king home!’ And that was basically it.”

Ronda Rousey has never been shy about speaking her mind, so this could well be her legit thoughts on wrestling fans. That said, the final days of her first WWE run saw her playing a sh*t-talking heel who liked to bash the fans. So, make of all of this what you will.

And for those wondering, Ronda is currently contracted to WWE until April 10, 2021.
