Ronda Rousey's PPV Matches - Ranked From Worst To Best
2. w/ Kurt Angle vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon, WrestleMania 34
This wasn't just Ronda Rousey's first WrestleMania match, and this wasn't just her first WWE match - this was her first wrestling match. Ever. Now that's some confidence.
At WrestleMania 34, Rousey teamed up with the legendary Kurt Angle to take on the power-hungry duo of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Logically, it made sense for Rousey's first match to be a Tag Team match, because it would give the others a chance to cover for her if it turned out that she was the drizzling sh*ts.
But the drizzling sh*ts, she was not.
Far from it, actually - she was fantastic. She looked as if she'd been wrestling for years, which was especially impressive given that the match went for over 20 minutes. And even though Stephanie is a non-wrestler, Triple H is a much older part-timer, and Angle is basically held together with staples and Scotch tape at this point, everyone in the match did a wonderful job.
In the end, it was Rousey who picked up the victory for her team, making Stephanie tap almost instantly to an armbar. To call this one of wrestling's greatest debut performances would be a massive understatement.
