Ronda Rousey's PPV Matches - Ranked From Worst To Best
3. vs. Nia Jax, Money in the Bank '18
Believe it or not, Ronda Rousey's first encounter with Nia Jax was better than her second one.
In just her second-ever match and her very first singles match, Rousey challenged Jax for her RAW Women's Championship at Money in the Bank 2018. Fans were eager to see how Rousey would follow up her terrific debut at WrestleMania 34 (more on that later), and needless to say, she did not disappoint.
Rousey spent much of the match getting rag-dolled by Jax as the crowd progressively got more behind her. Rousey's selling was surprisingly terrific, and her offence was impressive and convincing. She even managed to hit two judo throws on Jax, which is no easy feat.
Anyway, while Jax was fighting her way out of Rousey's armbar, in came Alexa Bliss, who had just won the Women's MITB Ladder Match earlier in the night. After assaulting and incapacitating Rousey, Bliss cashed in on Jax to win the Women's Championship for the fifth time.
Although it was Little Miss Bliss who won the night, let's not take anything away from Jax and Rousey, as their 11-minute-and-5-second match was terrific; certainly the best of Nia's career thus far.
