Ronda Rousey's WWE Return: 10 Matches We Must See

This is another name who has in fact wrestled Rousey before, with a title match going down on Monday Night Raw back in January 2019. However, as with Mickie James, last time these two met it was a very different Bayley to the one Ronda could take on in the (hopefully) near future.

As good as she always was in the ring, “The Hugger” was, on the main roster, a botched imitation of what had worked for her in NXT. Vince didn’t really understand the gimmick and the performer struggled accordingly. Bayley never felt like a serious threat to Ronda’s title in a match WWE didn’t even consider worthy of a PPV.

Bayley’s reinvention as a wildly entertaining heel was as unexpected as it was successful. “Bayley Dos Straps” proved to be the MVP of the pandemic era, bringing some much needed verve and personality to bleak empty arena shows.

This reinvention and reinvigoration will bring a whole new dynamic to Rousey and Bayley's interactions this time around. The pairing has huge potential and WWE should make it a priority as soon as Bayley is ready to return from injury.
