4. The Cobra Versus Mr. Socko
WWE.comWhen Santino introduce The Cobra sock puppet into his arsenal of moves, quick comparisons were made to Mr. Socko, the famous wrestling sock puppet Mankind would wear before applying the Mandible Claw. So naturally WWE knew that they had to somehow bring these two sock puppets together in an epic encounter that would rock the very core of the WWE Universe. At Royal Rumble 2012 Mick Foley entered the rumble, and Santino Marella soon followed after him. As Santino prepared to put The Cobra on, Foley had the same time and applied Mr. Socko to his arm. The two wrestlers met in the center of the ring, and their sock sidekicks finally tangled much to the delight of the WWE Universe. It was a stalemate between the two power puppets that had no conclusion due to both wrestlers getting attacked by other Royal Rumble participants. Both Santino and Foley were soon eliminated from the Rumble, but at least the fans can say where they were when The Cobra and Mr. Socko clashed for the very first time. Heres hoping a rematch is set in the near future.
