Sasha Banks Breaks Silence On WWE Release News

What did 'The Boss' say in response to huge breaking news around her WWE exit?

Sasha Banks has commented on her possible WWE release for the first time since news of a possible exit sensationally broke late Wednesday night.

'The Blueprint' kept her words short and sweet in a succinct Instagram post to followers that seemed to, for now at least, shut down the likelihood of her making an immediate exit from the organisation. The story had already taken a few twists and turns before this point - WrestlingInc's Raj Giri was the one with the scoop, but when Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful couldn't nail down confirmation to confidently back it up, Giri suggested he'd leave the breaking news game behind if his sources had fobbed him off with bad info.

His exit might be forthcoming.

Posting a short white-text-on-black-background message as part of an Instagram story, Banks simply said "See now, this is why I stay off Twitter...", then followed that with "Just making up stuff weekly, for no reason".

Whilst not conclusive, it's as definitive a statement from either side at this point, and by indicating that the key facts might be true, Banks' is presumably implying that she's not going anywhere just yet.

More, (if there is any...) as and when it trickles out.
