Segments And Matches Re-Shot In WWE Tapings
You can't call the crowd 'NXT Superstars', apparently.
WWE re-shot a couple of matches and segments in their most recent batch of TV tapings, according to Fightful.
Among the matches which were re-taped was this week's SmackDown encounter between 'King' Baron Corbin and Otis. Apparently, the company weren't happy with one particular move and forced the pair to redo it on a number of occasions, despite not messing up that part of the match in the first place.
Also, MVP's promo on Monday Night Raw was shot again after the star reportedly addressed the audience as 'NXT Superstars'. MVP was then told to refer to them as 'Performance Center Recruits' over the PA system.
WWE is known for over-producing their stars and their product, and this latest development seems to suggest that they now have the ability to control every single aspect of whatever show their filming due to the ability to stop and re-record anything they're not happy with.
Tonight's NXT Takeover: In Your House will also be coming to us from the Performance Center, as the likes of Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Charlotte Flair and Finn Balor all fight to have their hand raised on the night.
