Shane McMahon's 9 Most Death-Defying WWE Stunts

5. Superplexed Off The Ladder Through Two Tables - Backlash 2006

Despite Shane's obvious athleticism and gift as a performer, sometimes his biggest moments come from simply being a willing, limb body. Case in point: Getting superplexed off a ladder through a couple of tables.
Moments like this prove that not only does Shane McMahon have confidence in himself, but he has confidence in the other guys and is willing to put his livelihood in their hands. (I suppose being the boss' son will gives you a little more assurance that they'll do their best not to mess it up.) Now, to be fair, Shawn Michaels took a lot of the brunt of this one, taking out one of the tables all by himself. BUT STILL. In 2006, Shane was 36-years-old and was rarely seen in a wrestling ring. He could have went out there and taken the basic bumps, working in the kendo sticks and chair shots while doing his little Butterfly Floaty Dance, but he didn't. Instead, he went out and put his body on the line again, in a way the crowd hadn't yet seen from him. Because if he's going to do something, he's going to make sure it's done f*cking awesomely.
