6. A String Of First Time Evers
It's easy to overlook some of Shawn's achievements from his initial stint with the company, despite picking up three of his four World titles in that span; such was the quality of his second run. One thing that shouldn't be forgotten is the path HBK blazed for the generations to follow. He won that epic first Hell In A Cell match, taking the first fall from the structure that Mick Foley would eclipse the following year.
He won the first Elimination Chamber match for his sole World Heavyweight Championship after coming back to the company. He wasn't technically in the first-ever WWE ladder match, but his clash with Razor Ramon is the one that showed the world the potential of the stipulation.
And all that is without mentioning the time he and nemesis Bret Hart captivated an audience for over an hour without a single fall in the first Iron Man match, or the fact that The Main Event was WWE's first Grand Slam Champion.
Oh, and he was the first to go coast to coast in the Royal Rumble match on his way to back-to-back triumphs, a feat matched by only two other men.
